Laser

Since our founding, we have developed and advanced corrosion technology using chemicals to provide texture to our customers. We are currently developing a new technique for texture processing using laser beams.

Laser processing

About Laser processing

By incorporating maximum precision and fineness into texturing, it becomes possible to develop precise and complex patterns that could not be achieved with corrosion processing.
It is the latest technology that increases the possibility of new design expressions, and processing that does not use chemicals or chemicals also contributes to a clean environment and ecology.

This 5mm square is made up of 4 2mm squares.
Each petal is depicted in the center, and the grooves between the small squares are steep like cliffs.
You can see the edge feeling that is unique to lasers.

The angle and direction of inclination of the top surface of each square are different. There is also a very shallow hairline engraved on the top surface, and the direction of the hairline is different for each square.

By reflecting light in various directions, you can create a hologram effect that changes appearance depending on the viewing angle.

This 10mm square is made up of 10 rows of 1.5mm wide grooves.
The rows of grooves are arranged at equal intervals, and are shaped so that they appear to shine at the same time due to the angle of reflection of light.
Two sets of groove rows are arranged diagonally in the center, and the remaining eight sets of groove rows are arranged around them.
Various patterns of reflected light can be obtained by setting the angle of the groove array to 4 types.

It consists of an irregular mesh of convex lines with a width of about 0.5 to 1.0 mm.
Around the convex line there is a shape like a thorn (centipede's foot).
The recessed areas have a pattern similar to fine contour lines, which suppresses light reflection.
Due to its matte texture, it is recommended for situations where you do not want to shine.

Laser Engraving technology

Laser Engraving has the advantage of being able to perform fine processing that would not be possible with corrosion.
Stainless steel is generally a material that does not corrode easily, but it can be processed like other steel materials using laser processing technology.
It is a new method that has evolved from conventional texture processing technology in that it can apply texture flow adjustment to complex curved surfaces and can express with a high degree of freedom.

In addition, because it is a non-contact process that does not directly touch the material, it is possible to reduce the risk of die wear and damage, and it is also possible to finish multiple workpieces of the same shape almost evenly.
Furthermore, it is also possible to share processing data with overseas factories for processing.

We are also working on hybrid processing that combines conventional corrosion technology and laser technology, and we continue to pursue the reproduction of the designs desired by our customers by making full use of these two technologies.
